In Ocarina of Time there are 12 total songs that you learn. There are 6 regular songs with magical attributes, and 6 songs that Shiek teaches you that allow you to warp to various places.
Zelda's Lullaby |
You get this song by talking to Princess Zelda right after you sneak past the guards, Impa will teach this to you after she escorts you out of the castle.
Uses: Triggers events in the game usually at places you see a triforce logo. |
Sun's Song |
You get this song by going to the cemetary in Kakariko Village, and playing Zelda's Lullaby at the big tombstone at the back of the graveyard. Once you play the song the tombstone will get struck by lightining and a hole will appear in the ground. In the first room, kill all the keese to open the gate, go through the door to be in a room that has ReDeads and acid on the floor, maneuver around them and proceed to the last chamber. In here read the tablet and play the song.
Uses: Turns night to day / day to night. Freezes ReDeads and Gibdos |
Saria's Song |
Saria teaches this song to you in the Sacred Forest Meadow, the first time you visit her after you learn Zelda's Lullaby. It is considered a song of friendship.
Uses: Allows you to contact Saria at anytime, and Navi for that matter |
Epona's Song |
Malon teaches this to you after you wake her father up at Hyrule Castle. She should be in the middle of the Corral singing.
Uses: Allows you to summon Epona (once you are an adult and have completed the side mission to rescue Epona), Also allows you to get free milk from Cows when you play it near them with an empty bottle |
Song of Time |
Definition
Uses: This song allows you to open the door of time, once you have the Kokiri Emerald, Goron Ruby and Zora Sapphire |
Song of Storms |
Adult Link learns this from Guru-Guru in Kakariko Village, inside the Windmill. Guru-Guru says he learned it from a young boy clad in green.
Uses: This storm causes a heavy storm; can also make a holes appear in the ground in specific places. |
